Assalamualaikum and Greetings Are you looking to add value to your research by obtaining detailed information about your research participants' personal and group feelings, perceptions and opinions which provide a broader range of information that can be used in the developmental program evaluation sphere? As part of the Qualitative Research Workshop Series, the Department of Community Health, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Universiti Putra Malaysia will be organising a workshop on Focus Group Discussion technique. This workshop is aimed at researchers as well as students who wish to utilise the technique as part of their research effort. The workshop will be run by researchers from our department who are experienced in conducting Qualitative Research and they will share their knowledge and experience in areas including: Introduction to Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Writing Interview Guide. FGD Skills. Transcribing. Peer Review and Member Checks. Utilisation of FGD in Research. The workshop will be conducted on Tuesday, 6 February 2018 at the Main Meeting Room, Level 4 of the faculty. Fee payable to participate is RM75 and dateline for registration is 1 February 2018.
