ENVOCH UPM – SINGAPORE MOBILITY PROGRAMME 2018 10 – 12 May 2018 |
The mobility program to Singapore for 1st year students, Bachelor of Science (Environmental and Occupational Health), was held from 10 - 12 May 2018. The program was organized by Environmental and Occupational Health Club (ENVOCH) under the purview of Medical and Health Sciences Students Association (MEHSSA) and was attended by students from the Department of Environmental and Occupational Health, the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. Among the places visited was the "Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health" at the National University of Singapore (NUS) on May 11, 2018. Professor Teo Yik Ying, Dean, “Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health”, NUS, and some of their staff, including Associate Professor Norbert Wagner, Dr. Jeff Hwang and Dr. Vivian Ng participated in the meeting. The students were briefed on programs and activities related to occupational safety and health. It is hoped that this visit will be held every year to provide exposure to students especially in terms of occupational safety and health as well as to prepare them for work in the real world. |
