INTRODUCTION

Research Strategic Plan of FMHS 2021 is a document that provides the direction of research frameworks which escalating the high impact research cultures in medical and health sciences fields, subsequently would promote/generate/produce the excellent research output. Thus, the objectives of Research Strategic Plan of FMHS 2021-2025 as stated below:

• Strengthening the research performance among the FMHS community in medical and health sciences area.
• Cultivating and elevating the high impact research activities.
• Exploring the translational research that create a positive impact towards community, industry and government sectors.
• Enhancing the collaborations and networks through inter-departments, faculties, universities, industries, communities and national or international institutions.
• Accelerating the visibility of the faculty and performing the national and international academics’ reputes.
• Upholding the UPM status as a research university in Malaysia and international prestige.
• Refining the human resource and sustainable leadership in research field.
• Providing the conducive and quality research environment.
