HEAD OF MEDICAL DEPARTMENT

Professor Dr. Christopher Lim Thiam Seong Professor (Medical)

The  Department of Medicine was founded in 1998, when the first batch of  medical students started the clinical program. The department is  currently headed by Prof. Dr. Christopher Lim Thiam Seong who is also a Senior Consultant Nephrologist and  Medical Professor. The department is based in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, UPM Serdang. The department provides clinical services to both Hospital Pengajar Universiti Putra Malaysia and Hospital Serdang

Department of Medicine provide clinical services below:

4. Cardiology
5. Nephrology
6. Hematology
7. Infectious Diseases
8. Respiratory
9. Emergency Medicine

Department of Medicine also provide laboratory services as below:
