Professional Services

The academic staff in this department are invited as visiting and honororary lecturers to the other universities. As Family Medicine specialists, the academic staff also impart their clinical and consultancy services at the community clinics in the district of Sepang namely Salak Community Clinic, Dengkil Community Clinic and Sungai Pelek Community Clinic. The department is also actively involved in community services both to the government and non-governmental agencies.

Some of the staffs are involved in producing National Medical Guidelines and national teaching materials.Among them are the Dengue Fever Clinical Practice Guideline, Breast Cancer Guideline, Manual for clinical Breast Examination for health care providers, Manual for Family Planning for health care providers, Clinical Practice Guideline for Referral case in Primary Care and Madual for Pre and Post test Thalassemia Counseling Module for Primary Care.
