Research

Generally, research field in the Department of Biomedical Sciences is to examine therapeutic potential of natural substances found in plants and animals (fish). Areas of research field include physiology, pharmacology and toxicology. In addition, research elements such as innovation of diagnostic biomarkers and biosensors as well as understanding pathogenesis of disease-causing microorganisms are also included. Studies conducted in these areas are including molecular biology, cell biology, cytogenetics, pharmacology, biochemistry and microbiology.
