Serdang, 20 February 2025 – The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FPSK), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), organized a visit to the Agricultural Science Foundation Centre (ASPER). The main purpose of the visit was to observe the implementation of EKSA in the laboratory rooms at ASPER.
A total of 14 staff members from the FPSK EKSA Committee participated in the visit. The delegation was warmly welcomed by Tuan Haji Mat Razi Abdullah, Chairman of the EKSA Committee at ASPER. In his welcoming remarks, Tuan Haji Mat Razi Abdullah expressed his appreciation for the visit and thanked the FPSK EKSA Committee for selecting ASPER as a benchmarking location to observe EKSA practices in laboratory settings.
Before the tour of the laboratories, Tuan Haji Mat Razi Abdullah provided an overview of EKSA implementation at ASPER. He shared that EKSA at ASPER is strongly supported by all departments, enabling various innovations to be introduced and maintained effectively.

The laboratory tour included visits to four different laboratory rooms. Several photos were taken during the visit to document the experience and foster a spirit of collaboration.


It is hoped that this visit will inspire the FPSK EKSA Committee to generate valuable ideas for implementing EKSA at the faculty. Additionally, the visit aims to support the planning of future activities that will further enhance EKSA implementation through the active involvement of all stakeholders. Therefore, cooperation from all faculty members is essential in achieving the overall goals of EKSA.

Prior to the laboratory tour, a group photo session was held with both FPSK and ASPER EKSA Committee members to commemorate the occasion.
