Serdang 24 January – Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences (FPSK), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) organised an Auditor Certification Course from 22 and 23 January 2025. The speaker was Puan Noraihan binti Noordin, Head of Administration Division, Student Affairs Division, UPM. This course was held at the Seminar Hall, Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (ION2), UPM, involving 47 staffs of the Auditors and Internal Audit Observers of FPSK.
The objective of this course, apart from covering the ISO improvements (OFI) in 2024, was to understand the purpose, scope and content of MS ISO 9001:2015 and its uses, including the process of planning, implementation, reports preparation and follow-up actions. Apart from that, it also aimed to provide an understanding on how to prepare non-compliance reports and the appropriate corrective and follow-up actions against non-compliance as well as to strengthen the implementation of internal audits. These information are essential in improving the effectiveness of the Quality Management System, especially in the faculty and overall at UPM.

At the end of the course, all staffs who attended received a certification as an Auditor and they are qualified to conduct auditing sessions by practicing all the knowledge learned during the two days.
