Hari Raya Aidilfitri Celebration at FPSK UPM

SERDANG, 24 April 2025 – The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FPSK) held a vibrant Hari Raya Aidilfitri Celebration on 24 April 2025, from 2.00 PM to 4.00 PM at the faculty foyer.

The event kicked off with a prayer recital, followed by a welcoming speech by Professor Dr. Barakatun Nisak Mohd Yusof, Deputy Dean (Academic of Health Sciences and Student & Alumni Affairs), FPSK.

In her speech, she emphasized the importance of celebrating Eid as a platform to strengthen the bond between faculty members and the management team of Hospital Sultan Ahmad Shah (HSAAS), who also graced the event with their presence. 

The atmosphere was lively and colorful, with guests dressed in vibrant traditional attire, and festive Raya music adding to the joyous ambiance. Among those present were members of the FPSK and HSAAS management, faculty staff, and invited guests.

An array of delicious traditional delicacies was served, reflecting the diverse tastes of Malaysian society during Eid. Crowd favorites included rendang, lemang, ketupat, various stir-fried noodles, traditional kuih-muih, desserts, and an assortment of special festive beverages.

The event was further enlivened by several competitions, including the Best Dressed contest for male and female categories and the Best Decorated Stall competition based on the "Matching Raya Theme." A lucky draw session added excitement, with attendees eagerly awaiting the announcement of winners.

The celebration concluded at 4.00 PM with the grand finale – the prize-giving ceremony for the winners, followed by a photography session to capture the day’s memorable moments.
