KUANTAN 4-6 October – The Office of the Deputy Dean of Research and Internationalization (TDPA) and the Deputy Dean of Graduate Studies, Industry & Community Relations and Income Generation (TDSJINM) of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FPSK) had a meaningful visit to the International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM), Kuantan, Pahang. This visit was followed by an Income Generation Strengthening Workshop which took place in Kuantan, Pahang. This workshop aims to inject new ideas and a spirit of belonging to the office staff to upgrade income generation activities and initiatives, both in the short and long term, so that FPSK's income increase can be brilliantly achieved.
A total of 30 participants attended this workshop, consisting of YBhg. Dean, 2 FPSK Deputy Deans, 4 coordinators, 4 officers, and 20 FPSK support staff. On October 4, 2024 (Friday), the participants visited the Kulliyyah of Medicine and the Kulliyyah of Allied Health Sciences, IIUM Kuantan, Pahang. The delegation was taken to the meeting room to share ideas and opinions about the services offered by the respective faculties. After that, the participants were taken to visit the related laboratories, where they discussed the scheduling system carried out by the Kulliyyah laboratory staff, as well as the advanced equipment used for research according to their field of expertise. At the end of the visit, a photo session with both kuliyyahs was held before dispersing.



The opening session of the workshop was officiated by YBhg. Prof. Dr. Normala Ibrahim, Dean, FPSK, UPM in the evening. The results of the visit were summarized by Mrs Safarina Mohamad Ismuddin and Mrs Farhatani Mahmud, Science Officer, FPSK.
On October 5, 2024, participants held group discussions on short and long-term action plans to increase income generation at FPSK. Training in the group has been carried out with full dedication to achieve the goals of the visit that have been set.
The workshop continued with the closing ceremony by YBhg. Prof. Dr. Rukman Awang Hamat and concluded by YBhg. Prof. Ts. Dr. Cheah Yoke Kqueen. The results of this workshop clearly show the application of the noble values of cooperation between staff in preparing for the next action plan by increasing income generation at FPSK.
