SERDANG — The Deputy Dean’s Office (Graduate Studies, Industry and Community Relations), Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FMHS), recently announced the winners of the Faculty-Level Three Minutes Thesis (3MT) Competition, which was successfully held with strong participation.

The competition served as an important platform for postgraduate students to present their research in a concise, engaging, and accessible manner within a three-minute timeframe. The overall quality of presentations was exceptional, reflecting the high standard of research within the faculty.

In the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) category, Nabila Adlina binti Nasruddin emerged as the champion, followed by Muhammad Fikry bin Ahmad in second place and Nurin Nadrah binti Johan in third place.

For the Master’s (MSc) category, Lee Jia Xian secured first place, while Abdullahi Abubakar Kyari and Aminah Bello took second and third place, respectively.

These achievements highlight the students’ strong commitment, dedication, and excellence in research, as well as their ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to a broader audience.

The faculty also extended its appreciation to the supervisory committee members for their continuous guidance and support throughout the students’ research journey. Acknowledgment was further given to all participants, judges, and organizing committee members for their valuable contributions in ensuring the success of the event.

Such initiatives are expected to continue fostering a culture of research excellence while enhancing communication skills among postgraduate students.
