The department hold the 1^st meeting for its Malaysia Research University Network (MRUN) Research Grant on Food Poisoning on 14 Feb 2019 in the faculty. The team members are from USM, USIM, UMT, UMS, UiTM. The MRUN Research Grant is led by Prof Dr. Zamberi Sekawi with three sub project heads, Prof Dr. Rukman Awang Hamat, Associate Professor Dr. Syafinaz Amin Nordin and Associate Professor Dr. Malina Osman.
