The Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care began as Anaesthesiology Unit under the Department of Surgery in 1999 where our lecturers mainly contributed to the faculty’s Doctor of Medicine Programme through conducting the Anaesthesiology Posting and Basic Life Support Course.
