Department of Rehabilitation Medicine

The Department of Rehabilitation Medicine was first established in October 2020. Originally, the Rehabilitation Unit was established under the Department of Medicine in 2008 and then merged with the Nursing Unit to form the Department of Nursing and Rehabilitation in 2015. At the same time there was also the Rehabilitation Medicine Unit under the Department of Medicine. Then, the Rehabilitation Medicine Unit and the Rehabilitation division of the Department of Nursing and Rehabilitation agreed to become a single independent entity and in June 2020, the establishment of the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine was approved by the UPM Senate (673rd Senate Meeting).
