Department of Orthopaedics

Department of Orthopaedics, formerly known as Orthopaedic Unit under the Department of Surgery, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, UPM. However, in 2005 the unit was accorded a department status. Currently the department is made up of several units in such as Traumatology, 'Arthroplasty', Hand & Microsurgery, Paediatrics, 'Spine and Sports Surgery and two units to be established, Foot & Ankle and Oncology. In line with the mission of the Faculty, the department strives to achieve excellence in teaching, research, professional and consulting services that are effective and efficient in the field of Orthopaedics.
